Utilize them to summon the spirit of a Crystalian.

This spirit wields circular crystalline blades, both large and small. Its robust body, hewn from crystal long ago, is tough enough to dull the blades of its opponents, but it can be easily shattered by strikes from blunt weapons.

The ashes are located in the Hidden Cave of Galidseria.

Venture deep into the cave along the passage and head to the upper right when you reach the position indicated in the picture below.

Pass through the crystal pillar and enter the cave in front on the left.

Then, leap down to the cave's lower level.

You can obtain the ashes by opening the treasure chest after defeating the three mages in the room.
