A diminutive shield forged upon Mt. Gelmir from uncooling lava. Its inherent heat grants resistance against frost, and intriguingly, it can be wielded as a weapon to inflict fire damage.

Skill: Shield Bash

Brace behind the shield before using bodyweight to forcefully ram into adversaries while maintaining a guarding stance. Weaker enemies may be pushed backward and could even be staggered.

How to Acquire the Weapon:

Starting from the Prison Town Church site of grace, exit the building and turn right, heading west until you can safely drop down onto a rooftop.

Immediately turn left, facing south, and descend to the rocky ground below. Continue downhill to the east and drop down to a substantial roof to the southwest.

From there, leap to the rocky ground in the northwest and proceed to the graveyard. The Smoldering Shield can be found on a corpse in this location.
