Located on a body in Volcano Cave, situated northeast of the Ninth Mt. Gelmir Campsite Site of Grace in Mt. Gelmir.

From the cave grace, traverse into the large open room and take the right-most tunnel (northwest), following it to the end. Descend onto the small cliff below, turn around, and enter the tunnel.

The shield awaits on a body in the room ahead, although be wary of an impending ambush of enemies. Consider clearing the room before claiming your prize.
