The Ash of War grants Quality affinity to an armament and introduces the skill "Square Off."

This skill initiates with the sword held level. Subsequently, follow up with a normal attack to slash upwards through the enemy's guard, or execute a strong attack to perform a running thrust.

Usable specifically on straight swords.

To obtain these Ashes of War, journey to the meadows north of the Believer's Forest on the Shifra River.

Eliminate the dung beetle located on the grass beside the waterfall to acquire the Battle Ashes.
