The Ash of War imparts Fire affinity to an armament and introduces the skill "Flame of the Redmanes."

This skill, used by the Redmanes who fought alongside General Radahn, produces a powerful burst of flames in a wide frontward arc.

Usable on all melee armaments.

To obtain these Ashes of War, venture to the clearing north of Garrydgael Fortress.

Look for the white mark on the ground and eliminate the invisible dung beetle to acquire the Battle Ashes.
