Elden Ring will feature an in-game clock that changes from day to night. While relatively minor, the time of day can affect your gameplay including how detecable you are to enemies and which enemies spawn.

Improved stealth at night:

Night will become a welcome friend for stealth builds in Elden Ring. Under the cover of night, players will have increased stealth due to enemy visibility being lowered. Use this time to take out unsuspecting foes or sneak past dangerous groups of enemies.

Unique enemies appear:

Some enemies are nocturnal, such as the giant bats, and will only come out at night. Be careful of extra enemies when exploring The Lands Between at night.

Enemy spawn locations change:

Depending on the time of day, certain enemy spawn locations will change.
