The primary components of Blaidd's Set—Blaidd's Armor, Blaidd's Gauntlets, and Blaidd's Greaves—are acquired by progressing through Ranni's questline. After entrusting her with the Dark Moon Ring, returning to Ranni's Rise prompts an encounter with Blaidd, who engages in a soliloquy in front of the tower. Upon the completion of his dialogue, Blaidd becomes hostile, and overcoming him results in the player obtaining Blaidd's Armor, Blaidd's Gauntlets, Blaidd's Greaves, and the Royal Greatsword.

The Black Wolf Mask, serving as the helmet of the set, is found separately in close proximity to where the initial three pieces are acquired. Positioned on a corpse along the wall behind Seluvis's Rise, reaching it involves running and jumping up the deteriorating section of the wall near the tower's entrance.
