These five weapons are not only powerful in terms of their ability to effortlessly decimate bosses, but they also excel in that they don't require a high level of skill to wield, making them accessible even to beginners.
For character builds and equipment combinations, you can refer to the leaderboard.
In version 1.10, the Blasphemous Blade still reigns supreme as a top-tier weapon, thanks to its damage, impact, and self-healing effects. It is virtually unstoppable whether used for exploration or boss encounters. The terrifying combat skill damage is something few bosses, aside from those with extremely high fire resistance, can withstand for long.
Perhaps the only weakness of this weapon is that it can make the game feel too easy and potentially dull after use.
The Marais Executioner's Sword, formerly known for a bug that caused bleeding enchantments to stack, enabling it to one-shot most bosses under multiple buffs. Although the bug has been fixed, its combat skill release mode perfectly complements talismans like Millicent's Prosthesis、Rotten Winged Sword Insignia、Godfrey Icon、Shard of Alexander, and in combination with the Thorny Cracked Tea】 and other damage-boosting methods listed on the leaderboard, it can still unleash devastating damage.
Since the weakening of Rivers of Blood, the only remaining blood-imbued artifact, the Mohgwyn's Sacred Spear, remains potent. Its high bleeding efficiency can swiftly deplete an enemy's health bar, and it offers a significant boost to drop rate through main sensing points, making it a formidable weapon for both exploration and boss fights.
As the prime melee weapon for intelligence builds, the Moonlight Greatsword, a legendary relic of the Soul series, continues to impress in Elden Ring. Due to its intelligence scaling, it can easily utilize spells like Terra Magica and Ranni’s Dark Moon for damage amplification. With enchanted combat skills, the Dark Moon Greatsword performs admirably both at range and in close combat. Under the effects of multiple damage amplifiers, a few swings of the Moonlight Wave can take down late-game bosses.
Armor is highly recommended, with the Spellblade's Pointed Set providing around 8% combat skill damage when equipped as a full set.
[Reduvia]
In the latest version, Reduvia has received enhancements to combat skills and attack speed, and its combat skills can now be used at range, making it a must-have for short sword enthusiasts. Equipping two Reduvia swords or a combination of Reduvia and other blood change daggers is highly efficient for dealing terrifying sustained damage output.
